Can anyone identify this weapon?

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. A guy I work with has just come back from the US. Whilst out there he spent some time at the ranges and asked me what this weapon was.

It was being used by some sort of SWAT guy apparently.

  2. Looks like a commercial M4 type jobbie to me. With an EOtech sight on top.

    Is this a wah? :p

  3. One of these I reckon:

Whatever it is its obviously cheap and shoddy. It's broken in half

  5. It's so you can shoot around corners.

I can ID the live .22lr on the floor....

  8. Must have fallen out of the gun when it broke in half!

  9. On a side note, it hardly seems worth firing at a target that close. Or does it move?

  10. :D

  11. Robinson XCR. Can't be sure of the calibre

  12. Arn't the Israelis trying to develop a weapon that will allow the user to shoot around corners in cqb? Apparently there is a hinge between the barrel/breech block assembly and the butt, it utilises a mini video cam and screen for aiming!

Hermans had MP44's doing the same thing back in WW2 albeit without the optical option.

I wonder what the Israeli motivation is - avoiding being photographed perhaps?

  14. Israeli system for shooting around corners??

    See here http://www.israeli-weapons.com/weapons/small_arms/corner_shot/Corner_Shot.htm

As a part of their cunning deception plan, they've called it.....errm......Corner Shot. It's been around a while, now.

  15. Nothing if not cunning these red sea pedestrians. Kitty corner shot :D
