Can a Communications Troop Officer join 18 (UKSF) Signal Regiment

Hey I was just curious if Signals officers could join 18 uksf signals regiment as I saw somewhere you needed a class 2 in a signals trade to be at last be eligible for selection. I wondered if this would restrict it to non commissioned ranks in RS who would actually specialise in a trade as opposed to RS officers who would have more general training.
Thanks

Yes. There are lots of direct entry Corps officers in the place, someone's got to be available for the lads, NCOs, warrant officers and LEs to wind up, to say nothing of the hard time I imagine they get from the collection of other footpads, hooligans and ne'er-do-wells who also infest the place.

Note here that RS is not the abbreviation for the Royal Corps - R SIGNALS if you must, but it's just as easy to type 'Signals'.

If you are in the Army already speak to the RCMO or through the CoC to apply.
If waiting/wanting to join the Army then RMAS/Troop Training/Junior Command & then apply?
Any reason for UKSF as it is NOT all glamour & gucci kit, some of the work is like watching paint dry/grass grow!

Mostly for the same reason in interest in joining the army, just for the oppurtunity to push myself as far as I can go and UKSF just seems like the ultimate test. I know its probably just a pipe dream getting in and I have no delusions that I'm going to easily get selected but I just wanted to see what options were if I did decide to become a signals officer
Thanks for the advice
