I may be a full-time follower of atheism but AC can go screw himself.

Reminds me of a psychiatric joke ...

"If you talk to God, you're religious, God talks to you - you're psychotic"

He's probably right about god and defence. But be nice to him - he'll have tears trickling down his face if we're not nice to him.

Campbell is probably the nastiest piece of work that has come out of the new labour experiment. Allegedly a bully, certainly an oleaginous megalomaniac, unelected and too powerful for the good of the country. And certainly no friend of the military; I imagine that Dannatt loathes the ground that Campbell and his kin tread on.

My bold and size above. As true a statement as you will find on this site.

AC has a 'military friend' - I find that hard to believe, unless said 'friend' is of the Eric Joyce variety of disaffected irrelevance.

PS: General Montgomery put his faith in God - didn't do him or the nation too much harm.

This from an unelected, detestable puke who aided and abetted the Prime Minister in circumventing the entire democratic system in the UK. The same bloke who not only bypassed the democratic controls of this country for his own ends and those of 'The Messianic' Blair (who talked to God a lot too, and started 2 wars on the basis of his say-so I presume), but sullied the name of Britain throughout the world with his disgusting behaviour, manipulation of the idiot press, lying to the British electorate and causing the death of an emminent scientist who told the truth.

Who the fcuk is he to make such comments, the despicable, beak-faced cnut.

The only thing that waste of oxygen is good for, is penning a little 3rd rate porn for fat housewives with no intellect.

That is a sound point - that cunt Blair used god as the reason for his DMP. As did that clown Bush.

Next we'll have Rowan Williams taking the decision to ping some nukes at Iran on the back of a sunday chat with his maker.

Combiners of faith and politics - whether they wear a lopsided, smarmy smile and a suit or a scowl and a turban - they all sit in the same basket of fuckwits who use their faith to justify the unjustifiable.

God is not sound on defence? Does no one remember the battle of Jericho FFS? A case of shofar, so good?

Actually it's a very astute piece of propaganda. Campbell implies that this is gen information from a source that knows Dannatt well and indicative of how the Army really feel about Dannatt and sows the seed that he isn't in control of himself. It works in the irreligious UK but would only provide more popularity in the US where they like their generals God-fearing.
I expect we'll see a lot more of these tweets in the run up to the election. They're vicious, below the belt and ultimately deniable, not me gov I was just telling you what my mate in MoD said and he should know. It looks like the days of fighting the issues are long gone but when you have someone with absolutely no morals that's what you get.

My tweet:

I was speaking to a friend at 39 Victoria St yesterday and he said Alistair is having to keep Gordon from visiting mental health institutions until he can be certain he'll be let back out again.

MiT is right, everything now is all carefully stage managed. they'll be no throw-away lines and casual quips, it's all a pre-elective (and emptive) strike on us gullible public in the lead up to the big vote-off.

You have to give it to Labour, they're not going down without a fight, even if the poll's aren't in their favour and they're on average 10 pts behind the Tories.

Good point, well made MiT.

My Tweets:

I heard from a mate of mine, high up in the Labour Party yesterday that Gordon Brown is being advised to smile less, and cry more to make him look more human in the run-up to the election.

He also told me that the freak who interviewed him on telly, that Jeremy Clarkson punched, was paid a considerable sum of money by the Labour Party to give Monacle an easy time of it during a friendly TV interview.

Not only this but the ecstatically friendly and clapping audience in the background where all members of the party or family.

They used BNP-style tactics to keep non-sanctioned members of the public from coming in and booing, even to the point of grabbing their noses as they threw them out.

Good take MiT! I am in the "Campbell is a cnut" thinking majority  The man is beneath contempt and a liar - surely to fcuk nobody in uniform would admit to knowing this t0sser far less socializing with him so he has invented a mate

Unless you classify booting him in the nads as socializing.

'Good take MiT! Certainly seems that way.
