"Opportunity of outcome" = I want everything you've worked hard for but I don't want to put in the effort, and I want it now.
Actually I think that Opportunity of outcome is ok, it is ¨Equality of Outcome¨ that is so dangerously wrong and misguided.

it´s the difference between meritocracy (good) and socialism (bad). The best person for the job vs giving the woman or black guy the job because they are a woman or black (preferably both).

Did he actually eviscerate her? Leave her guts in a steaming heap on the floor? Next think you know he'll be decimating groups of people less than 10 in number.
You know what annoys me, people have been using the word decimate incorrectly for so long that it´s meaning has been changed or amended in the dictionary.

decimate

kill, destroy, or remove a large proportion of.
"the inhabitants of the country had been decimated"

  2. 2.

kill one in every ten of (a group of people, originally a mutinous Roman legion) as a punishment for the whole group.
"the man who is to determine whether it be necessary to decimate a large body of mutineers"

Maajid Nawaz interview with Jordan Peterson on LBC just now. There will likely be a link on the webpage after the show: Maajid Nawaz - Presenters - Radio - LBC
If you want the whole show you have to subscribe. When I looked the latest show wasn't available for playback or download yet. Maajid Nawaz - The Whole Show - LBC Catch Up
Meanwhile LBC have provided the following sample from the show:
Jordan Peterson’s Savage Response To Those Who Compare Him To Hitler - LBC
JP and MN have agreed to co-operate on talks re radical Islam. MN says to watch for news on that.

Really. Care to post some empirical evidence where state ownership of the railways etc in the UK worked great?
No didn't think so,
Anything that govt has got involved with that has to work within a commercial environment is a pile of shit. They simply can't compete in any aspect of the market.
It only happened on Thursday so maybe too early to tell?
The East Coast rail service will be temporarily renationalised, the government has decided, after operators Virgin and Stagecoach could no longer meet the promised payments in the £3.3bn contract.
State takes back control of east coast mainline

Once again debaters failed to read the memo and turned up to a Jordan B Peterson gunfight carrying knives. This time he had Stephen Fry behind him with a big fucking shotgun as well

Clichèd, emotional rhetoric versus erudite, factual logic

Great viewing when the preaching professor loses it, calls Peterson a “mean old white man”

The Munk Debates are almost always worth a watch. Especially when someone as smug as Simon Schama gets publicly taken down more than just a peg on live TV.

I watched this.

The woman is just misguided - the black bloke.. well, does he realise he's everything he's meant to be against? It's almost funny, almost because these morons actually get heard and they take the weak in.

Why dont you provide some empirical evidence that it does work. You know what empirical means, do you?

I don't care what you think. I know what I have experienced. That's empirical evidence, that is.

No that's anecdotal evidence, you have a sample size of one.
You claimed it was the experience of millions.

As I suspected then. Anecdotal Evidence with a sample size of one.
One? So why couldn't I get a seat? Oh yeah. The train was crammed with people, not one.

Do you think our railways are efficient? Good value for money? Reliable and punctual?

And, as a railway child - my dad worked for BR and we had near free or massively discounted national rail passes, I travelled up and down this country in all kinds of services. And it was great. Better than it is today.

Better than today. That'll be nostalgia.

As a railway child myself, my father being a guard, I remember the service was still shite, and the rolling stock more so.

I think for once I'll call bull and privelidge. The reason your dad got discount was partly his pay. Now I absolutely love steam engines but I am under no illusions about the hard labour they represented in terms of the running staff, but Beeching-I have his book , was an absolute wally. I got taken by train as dad was Military and discounted too. By the end of steam the locos were so run down 67/68 the only part of the system that got away with it was Southern because they had electric. In two years time, I think, the three rail system will be a hundred years old. The Infrastructure will be going back to the 1860's . The trains when I was little were almost always packed. A few years ago about 2008 or so I went to Pitlochry by rail East coast mainline. By Durham the train resembled a troop train in comparison to Eurostar. BR continued a thread that was primarily pre war. Hell of Mess, Late Never early, Great way Round- were coined tongue in cheek. The railways have transformed passengers into freight and the Freight is still largely on the road. Avoid it like the plague.
