Burma lost/last battalion? lost relative

  1. Looking for info on my granmothers brother. All i know is his name Bill Wooley. Fort in Burma alongside the Gurkas and i have heard my nan mention lost or last battallion. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

  4. I'm actually reading Defeat into Victory now. Got a brand new copy from abebooks, 17 quid with postage from the States.

    But I do think you will need a little more basic information on the Battalion.

    Someone might be able to help you, but you might need to provide quite a bit more information as there were 10ish Gurkha regiments and I have no idea how many battalions active at one point or another in Burma.
