Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. News on BBC and Sky, a soldier from 14 Signal Regiment (EW) has been killed in a rocket attack on a base in Helmand Province, Afghanistan 27 Jul 2007.

MOD has released the news but the soldier's parents have asked for a period of grace before his name is released. MOD is stating that the soldier is a "communications specialist" so can only assume that the brave fallen lad was Royal Signals.

Very, very sad news again. RIP soldier, condolences to family and friends and all those serving with 14 Signal Regiment (EW).

The Sigs have a thread running also.
