All symptomatic of a rather disturbing phenomenon that is obscured by the caveat RESTRICTED - INVESTIGATION is the sheer number of F&C soldiers (by which I mean Fijians) who are currently being investigated by our chums in red caps.
In my last job, I had visibility of serious offences involving Fijians at least every week; sexual offences every other week.
The annoying thing was that they would strike at night and then run off to the 'homey' room in one of the blocks - which was always chock full of smoking and drinking Fijians - and then laugh when the coppers came round to do their thing, because no-one could tell them apart, unless we had the guilty soldier's boss on duty as ROO/BOO. It goes without saying that the poor young ladies involved had no clue who did it.
All very frustrating, but you couldn't say anything for fear of being labelled 'racist' - probably more of an offence in the Army these days than rape.
