British Army Virtus MK2 90L Bergan

Hey Everyone,

Apologies if this has been asked before. I am now the proud owner of a Virtus MK2 90 Bergan. There were some extra bits of kit that I found inside the rucksack and I wondered what it’s for ? I have attached a picture for you all.

Any help would be gratefully accepted.

The strap on the right hand side is the chest extender - but 90% of people shouldn't need to use it (bearing in mind for the kit to work properly you loosen everything, put it on, fasten chest strap then tighten everything else to comfort

Bit on the left looks like a helmet cradle, but not 100% on that.

It's an MTP facemask. The bit on the right is for extending the straps so you can wear the mask over a respirator.

It's a jockstrap
