Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Flashed up on BBC. Not much detail yet.
  2. Straight from the MoD website:-

"At 1122 (local) on 10 November, an Army Air Corps Lynx helicopter operating with the Black Watch Battle Group came under small arms fire. Three rounds hit the aircraft, wounding the pilot. The helicopter returned safely to Camp Dogwood and the wounded pilot was evacuated to the US military hospital in Baghdad, where he is receiving treatment. His family have been informed."
  3. Apparently now in Ramstein and 'just' Seriously injured.
