Britain’s War In Helmand - Lt Col David Reynolds

Firstly, I have no idea whether this is the correct thread to post this sort of thing in, but to me it seems like the most relevant area.

I'm curious on what people think of the 2016 book written about the war in Afghanistan and the key events surrounding it. As far as I'm aware the book is a objective account of the war through the eyes of someone who has truly experienced it. I have yet to see any reviews or comments on it so wondered if anyone here had anything to say about it.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

As you can see I'm pretty new to all this, in what way is
No.4 Mk.1 renowned, and how did he impact the reception of this book.

Also, in response to Draft Dodger, how come it seemed to vanish?

Once again, thanks for the response guys

as in it was published with little or no advertising/marketing. i understand you can still buy it but at £25 a pop i cant imagine there will be many takers when there are a number of other books about Afghanistan available.
