    'BRITISH PRISONERS PARADED'
    What are claimed to be two UK prisoners of war and two dead British soldiers are reported to have been shown on an Arab TV network.

    The PoWs are reported to have been shown on Al Jazeera television following a battle at al Zubayr, near Basra.

    I saw the Al Jez' pictures of the US KIA/PW's when first aired a few days ago, they were being kept in reasonable comfort etc.  Obviously the media was there mind but they appeared safe from lynching etc.  

    I missed the Brit PW's yesterday but hope they'll be the same.  Will advise when pcitures seen.

    UK commander says they are civi aid workers and not mil personnel
     
  4. Latest update - MOD still not saying that the 2 dead soldiers shown on the film, are actually the 2 "missing" soldiers.
     
  5. Later on Thursday, two British soldiers who went missing on Sunday, and are believed dead, were named as Sapper Luke Allsopp, 24, and Staff Sergeant Simon Cullingworth, 36, both from a bomb disposal unit of the Royal Engineers.
