Brexit - The Final

What’s that sound I hear this morning?

Ah yes, the impotent banging of media luvvie fists on desks and their falling tears as Brexit steps up a gear and Boris treats them with disdain.
Boris has given an utterly realistic explanation of how Brexit will need to be accomplished.
  1. Make it clear that a no deal Brexit is a possible outcome.
  2. Ask to EU to renegotiate the WA as an alternative to a no deal Brexit
  3. Leave without a deal if the EU refuses to renegotiate the WA.
With May's spectacularly dumb negotiating strategy, the EU could repeatedly face palm her when she asked for changes. If BoJo becomes leader, I think he would be fully prepared to walk away from the EU without a deal.

As such, I think he is likely to force the EU into negotiations - they won't want the UK leaving without a deal and making substantial changes to corporate taxes to attract investment out of the EU. Nor will they want the UK cutting EU red tape post Brexit to give British businesses a competitive advantage over EU ones.

The other leadership contenders are promising this, that and the other. BoJo seems to be focusing on the essential point: unless the Tories deliver Brexit and soon, they're likely to be out of government for a generation - if not first destroyed as a party. Which makes promising 'this that and the other' without explaining how to deliver Brexit utterly meaningless.

Does anyone know WTF Corbcnut meant when he said this?

Corbyn: 'You won't be cheering in September'

What's occurring in September?
The gathering of the Reds to formulate more terrifying/bamboozling/bollocks (add adjectives of choice) statements to trot out on every conceivable media occasion for the next year, whether they answer the question or not, and to be shouted over anybody speaking who is not a fellow traveller.
Maybe?

Is Moscow nice in September or something?

I don't get what the Marxist, Anti-Semite, Terrorist Loving Socialist was referring to.

I think Jezza is referring to the possibility that the EU will face palm BoJo's attempts to renegotiate the WA and will be staring down the barrel of a no deal Brexit.

That ignores the prospect of Boris successfully painting the EU as the villain of the piece for domestic consumption and saying I'm only executing a hard Brexit because those evil bast*rds in the EU would not negotiate in good faith. Which will play well with both the core Tory vote and the wider electorate.

In his petulant stampy foot way, (because his motion to take control of the parliamentary timetable for a day was defeated) Corbyn was saying that Parliament will regret giving Boris the opportunity to Brexit without a deal.

September simply refers to the honourable members returning to work after the summer recess with no time left to fight Boris off.

He could equally have said, Labour have had many opportunities to bring the government down but we didn't take them because we are frightened of both, Brexit and a general election so we'll continue to spout spineless shite and stamp our feet and hope the Conservatives destroy themselves instead.

Then we will be cheering in September as our departure on 31st of October is guaranteed - deal or no-deal :)

Corbyn as usual has this back to front.

how quick were the folk who stabbed the trump baby scooped up?

meanwhile how many milkshake throwers have been done? Certainly not many.
The one who did Nigel was swiftly arrested and charged. That’s the Nigel who’s ‘picking up a rifle and donning khaki’ if brexit doesn’t go his way. (Has he had a fitting for the safari jacket since Peterborough?)

FWIW if you’re running around with a jar full of battery acid, based on a line from a comedian you should seek help.

Saint Helena Airport - Wikipedia

Commercial flights, the reason for the building of said airport were delayed by 18 months.

The aircraft used are smaller than intended.

Extra money has been spent to bring it into service, not sure if it's still within original cost parameters but no doubt the extra money is Kim a different budget.
I've told you , I know the history. Go back to the original post and see who needs the information.

It starts with little grammatical errors and, if unchecked, in no time at all it's full-blown holocaust denial.
Thread's full of grammatical errors...in no time at all it's reality denial.

I really want to sample some of what you're drinking as it must be really good stuff.

A cocktail of cannabis, LSD & laudanum going by the resulting posts.
You talking about the biff?
