Brexit Phase Two - Trade

Well... your reason for leaving is that the EU is too Socialist. Many Socialists wanted to leave because they considered the EU to be too ‘free market’. It can’t be both...
It can be both. It clearly is both as those on the left who are pro EU emphasise things like the EU's work in the area of worker's rights, while those on the left who are anti EU emphasise things like FoM driving down wages.

We were quite happy to let Indians starve to death in a famine during WW2. Which is worth more contempt in your opinion?
Have you been listening to Earth again? I think your assertion that we were "happy" to let Indians starve to death is pretty contemptible.

Why would Corbyn want to leave if the EU’s aim was Socialist Equality?

Alternatively why would the EU oppose state aid if it wasn’t a free market Organisation?
A socially homogeneous population is more suseptible to political control than one that is culturally and economically heterogeneous.
State aid in one regional sector might lead to economic divergence between regions. But social equality and political equality are entirely different animals. Having one does not predispose a society to have both.
It is perfectly reasonable to percieve the EU as pursuing social equality while developing a totalitarian political system. Corbyn/Labour would never support that........the Tories.......might see some ideological attraction.

Which shows your lack of understanding of the basics. Once Trump started kicking off about EU member states contributions to NATO and threatening to withdraw they were likely to go this way. The conversation could have been had but that arse always needs to be seen to win. HTH.

Basics? Well I used my Google-fu and Trump made those comments in July 18. The plan to increase EU spending by billions was initiated in June 17. European Commission - PRESS RELEASES - Press release - A European Defence Fund: €5.5 billion per year to boost Europe's defence capabilities

I suggest you read into the EU a little more. HTH

The way the tally is climbing I wouldn’t be surprised if they debate this very briefly (and traipse our the usual sound bite)in order to close out the petition before the count gets too high...they don’t want people to know just how many are sick and tired of their spin and collusion, that would undermine their biased reporting position

Presumably if this one gets the chop another can spring up in its place?

After all, second goes are all the rage.

Mornin
The ones in the Express.
I only buy the Sunday one for the crosswords, but I cannot recall much with which I don't agree. The change of ownership in the paper is becoming markedly more noticeable. In short I buy only that paper weekly and I get the eye. I have given up listening to the radio, Blair Broadcasting is as biased as hell with their constant subliminal advertising of pro remain groups, Sky is a little better. Euronews merely treats Brexit as a news item so I get to see what's happening where. Since RT out of the question there is very little informed comment. Whet there is out there is a huge number of pundits, who've never seen a customs declaration or a harmonised tariff, let alone a Croners and they speak with such authority on matters they are clueless about. They merely reflect clickbait reactions
