Brexit Phase Two - Trade

So your preference is disaster, rather than success for the UK?

You really are a dribbling idiot.
No my preference is pretend brexit, remaining in the customs union at a minimum and ideally the single market.

Take ownership of your own vote.

Any disaster is due to leave voters.

That's not what I said.
But it is what's implied.
Nope, stream of consciousness again. The EU controls the talks because we submitted A50 before we had half a Scooby and have been on the back foot ever since.
well I have to agree, not that the talks should be controlled by any one in terms of a negotitaion. That said there is no guarantee that the EU will get what it wants without acrimony-which will be very good for trade and remember they started this in the first place. As to Mandelson;remember term Prince of Darkness coined for Micheal Howard? I'd say Dracula would be apt of Mandelson, after all leeched on us as EU trade commissioner
Has it occurred to anyone that since the bureaucrats of the EU grudgingly allowed Article 50 to exist that they might have some, small, responsibility to make sure that it is executable in a fair manner, having taken into account borders etc?
So why do you think there was not means of enabling it. It wasn't meant to happen. It was a Blackadder moment

Blaming the EU for our continued failure to address the situation isn't good enough. We're still not doing it, they agreed to kick the can down the road twice in the mistaken belief that we were going to come up with something.

Not going to happen is it?
Untill now:mrgreen:. And Sir Humphrey points out "it the electorate wot did it." He then points out, " and Minister if you get this wrong Parliament will be out of a job":-D

Should you at first not succeed, try, try and try again.

The EU needs a re-org, you are preaching to the converted, I doubt any of the remainers would disagree. However, leaving the EU is the act of a stupid child.
Think,
'You want to leave the warren? 'I dare you to run across the M4 at Heathrow without being run down at rushhour!''
''Oh, anything for independence!''
or 'stay in the warren? There's a f*cking big dose of mixi going around', 'oh, anything for "security and solidarity and socialist values'.

More straw man bolleaux from the straw man himself.

Point out where I stated parliament are saboteurs or STFU.
I hope you are enjoying the democratic process as much as I.

My faith in parliament has been restored over the past couple of years.

Enjoy your day

Indeed; I am especially looking forward to the Commons vote on the CU being cast by the government as a confidence issue - see BBC News for details.

People that Remain voters worship:

Lord Adonis
Sir Bob Geldof
Ken Clark
Tony Blair
Neil Kinnock
Paddy Pants down
Chuka Umunna
Nick Clegg
Lord Peter Mandelson
Vince Cable
......I'm sure there are other such likeable characters

WTF has Geldof got to do with the UK? Last time I looked he was Irish. They were pretty quick to tell the Brits not to rule their bit of green grass. He can hop it back home and keep it shut.

On top of that his only contribution to the world is a few Songs - piss poor ones at that. He isn’t Mozart.

And Bair would do well to keep quiet as well. He doesn’t exactly have a stellar reputation....

Just in case it is difficult for you to comprehend. The EU had NO PART in current operations in Syria of Mali. Basically it did f*ck all when sh*t needed doing in Africa. France and France alone did that. Requests for assistance (ie transport planes) came from France, not the EU. The EU has little clout in the world bar gifting European taxpayers' money.
You haven’t heard of any of these operations then?
Military and civilian missions and operations - EEAS - European External Action Service - European Commission

Yup, none of the interested parties, RoI, UK, NI want a hard border, but the EU is de facto demanding it to force a united Ireland by the backdoor.
no the UK is unwilling to agree to anything but a hard border

Some people really REALLY aren’t learning from their mistakes - on both sides.

Pushing the vote on the CU as a vote of confidence in May is about as dumb as it gets. Didn’t anyone learn anything? Did Trump and Clinton not show everyone what happens when you push the wrong button.

You might just replace May with a really nasty piece of work who will tell the EU to shove its negotiations where the sun doesn’t shine - which I personally think would be a negative move, but may well give the UK a better deal.

Remainders, you had better pray that May sticks around because some of the other potential replacements might make you pee in your undies.
