Brexit news latest: New poll finds majority of Brits want to stay in EU weeks before departure date...

Those polled also believed Brexit would damage the economy, the NHS, the unity of the UK and Britain’s standing in the world.

Twenty-nine per cent said they thought they would be worse off after Brexit, compared to 15 per who thought their finances would improve.

Boris Johnson's Brexit trade deal will end frictionless trade, EU says

At some stage mongs need to face reality....Oh it will be worth it, it's only a flesh wound, hell we won the war and didn't worry about trade during the blitz etc...
That'll be the New Pole commissioned by the not at all biased Independent, whose balanced, convincing and lucid predictions on the effects of Brexit are on a par with yours?
I expect it will win over.... precisely no one.

You've neither researched the subject nor checked the veracity of those figures.
Screaming "Unfair !" doesn't make your argument any better.

Or perhaps the Brits will clean it out before they get there? (especially ironic as the Brit MEPs are mainly Brexit types and have only been there or a few months).
The Kinnocks have toughed enough to qualify, but all those whingeing show they were only ever in it for the money.

Japan and the EU recently signed an FTA

Unsurprisingly the Japs first reaction was to announce that UK manufacturing of Japanese cars is to be wound down. Simply because imports from Japan into europe have suddenly lost a huge cost from tariffs.

That means Japanese built cars just got massively cheaper to bring in to europe. They will now pursue a bigger market share with models built in Japan suddenly having a substantial drop in cost.
I don't know about Jap cars imported into Europe, but Jap cars imported into Australia are made in Thailand. Although Mazda have decided to move some production back to Japan because costs in Thailand have risen.

Her angry tears and frantic grasping at straws brings me to completion.

Trade deals with the US, China and India – even if achievable on remotely equitable terms – cannot compensate for lost European markets and nothing can repair political damage already done... What lies ahead after the faux celebrations?

That's nice.

Luckily for us, the eu won't be able to compensate for losing UK as a market... So both parties will no doubt muddle throught.

Fool.

The polls that said Brexit would lose the referendum.

The polls that said Trump would lose to Clinton.

The polls that said Boris was going to lose.

Sooner or later the intelligent ones on the planet will realise that polls are a meaningless attempt to cajole and frighten the public into believing crap.

Nothing beats a referendum or an election, where everyone gets a say (if they want it).

And the UK had both.
