Breaking: Jordanian Pilot captured by IS

Isis about to declare war on Jordan?

Most likely an F16 - as they're the RJAF's primary bomb-dropper.

Wouldn't want to be in his shoes.
Only thing is they have published photo's of him alive which might help get where he is and get him back,.

Well if he came down in the lake or on the edge he may have been trying to ditch his overalls or something to evade .

Who knows , impossible to tell .

... and to ensure there's no PLBs secreted away. But it does look odd.

The rebels have occasionally knocked down SAA jets which have been real busy lately, flying hundreds of bombing missions. I read somewhere that in the past month our Gulfie allies have flown just a couple of missions as they are running out of static targets in Syria worth hitting so this guy got real unlucky.

Makes you wonder what we and the U.S. dropped into the area when we where supporting them.
I'm sure we'd have been helping them shoot down Assad's Airforce.
