Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Any one got good info on breaking in combat boots by Lowa?

Mine fit nice but are just the slightest bit tight on the side of my foot.

    Cheers

  2. The best way to break any boots in is to wear them for a few days with the socks that you wear when wearing your boots.

An advantage of doing this is that it hardens your feet at the same time if like me you don't wear boots all of the time.

  3. Lowas are generaly fine after a couple of days wear, In my experience anyway....

They are weird to walk in at first though if your used to the issue boot, but they do generaly soften up after a few days, plus the fact you'll be cleaning them so that'll soften them up.....

  4. :D try running in them.......but take it easy lol
