TWO Roman Legion films are in production both based on the 'Legion of the Ninth' book. One is being done by the Director of 'Dog Soldiers'

Well lets hope Gibson isn't involved in the making of either film ... will be interesting to see how the 'Ninth' get on in the land of the fried mars bar and blue and white war paint, should be good... 8)

Will look out for this.

Family history tells us we are descended from the remnants of the Ninth.

Not that any survived mind you, but one pumped an ancestor of mine.

The village were so outraged, they obliterated that legion.

The battle has always been known as "Mons Gropius" ever since...
