Brain seizure

I am looking to re-join the Army after being out for 4 years. The only problem being, about a month ago whilst I was out running, I collapsed and had a fit. The Doctors have told me this is a brain seizure, after having ruled out a brain haemorrage, they have refered me to a specialist unit for epilepsy tests. This has never happened before, and the Doctrs have said it is more than likely just a one off.

Does anyone know if there is a time bar after an incident such as this? And if so, how long?

Many thanks.
Bit of a difficult one

If they have classed you as epileptic, then the answer would be a straight NO !

You would have to enquire with ACIO who would ask advice from the local med board and they could give a definative answer.

It may be a Yes, No, or come back in xxx months if fit free!
each case is taken on its own individual merits
That's pretty much what I was thinking. As I say, it's never happened before and the Doctors think it was just a one off. I have more scans next week, so should hopefully get the all clear. I'm not allowed to learn to drive for 2 years, so if I am able to re join then naturally my job choices would be limited.
As a slight aside to the original post, could anybody explain to me what a brain lesion is? The results from the tests have come back and apparently I have one of them. I'm pretty sure that makes the Army a no go, but i'd still like to know what the crack is. I'm waiting for an appointment with a Neurologist.
