BPFA 100%

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Have read the previous thread regarding BPFAs but it seemed concerned with just passing them. I have heard that it is possible to get 100% on a BPFA (ie 300 points?) but was wondering what were the levels required?

To quote Tricam from a different forum: "I've never seen the table converting scores to points but having done a BPFA once I would estimate for 100 points you need roughly 70 press-ups, 75 situps and to run 1.5 miles in 8:50."

Can a PTI or person-in-the-know please confirm this. Also, what would be the equivalent for a MSFT?

    Thanks

  2. I can’t see where it deals with the specifics. The answers given are rather vague.

Does anyone know what are the scores needed for 300 on the BPFA for a 36 year old male.

  3. 90 press ups
    90 sit ups
    7.30 on the run

  4. For a 36 year old male not an 18 year old male.

  5. In that case, the formula is simple, half the reps and double the time

    45 press ups

    45 sit ups

    15 minutes on the run
