Boris under fire

Now since I have been locked out of the other main Boris thread due to the rather piffling disagreement with Bravo, I have decided to put my take on Boris.
We all know he was elected on the Brexit issue ( yahoo boo sucks) and that he won a rather tasty majority. Since then the MSM as acolytes to the left have been doing their damndest to get him out and the Socialists in. The similarity to some of SKS statements and the Eye's own leaders somehow lead me to think that possibly the Eye is the opposition using
Smarmer as a mouth piece. There are various fallacies being woven into this, the issue of Visas for the Ukrainian refugees, The current migrant issue, the fact that Smarmer wants us to do more being examples. The fact that the last time a "Socialist" politician was in the position of going further, it proved disastrous both at the onset and later under Boris faintly ridiculous for him. But there ya go.

What gets me, is that we spent years trying to prove that Parliament was misled under Blair, yet still no hard and clear conclusions have been formed despite thousands of lives, billions in equipment and a resultant Taliban Government being forced upon the Afghans, not to mention the hundreds of millions fed to the bottom feeders in the quest to nail Blair. Yet the moment a Prime Minister has a party and is fined £50 he has misled parliament and should resign.

Did Blair resign, only when he wanted to. As an onlooker for many years what I see is another attempt by Parliament to secure the power of government, which paradoxically is precisely the opposite of the requirement for the franchise the Socialists fought for (allegedly). Parliament now has a real problem with credibility to the electorate.

The electorate know that politicians lie, we know that they say one thing and do another. But at least Boris has had Covid, he's given the NHS the money. So he a Randy sod, so to was Lloyd George and he lied. The MSM are finding all the little heartrending sob stories they can, "I couldn't be there when so and so died". Sorry but I don't care. People have always died alone, it's in the nature of things. Empathy I have in plenty, but it's not what matters. What matters at base is the ability to get the services we pay for-which at the moment is shot. So actually I rather hope that Boris gets through this because right at this time I can't think of another politician as leader without corpsing and at least he makes me laugh with his bumbling buffoonery but I am not in the least deceived by it.

Couple of points.

a. There's nothing in your post that hasn't already been said.

b. That's the longest plea to be ROP'd for attempting to circumvent a thread ban that I've ever seen.

Johnson is toast and I will be very happy when the clown is gone. On the other hand I can't stand Starmer but will vote Labour as the lesser of three evils. But only just.

No it’s not. I am not attempting to circumvent the ban.just my view.

Johnson may be toast, but sod me what a pathetic interview? “Are you honest prime minister?” Who the hell dreamt that one up. Still for the gullible, what else does one expect.

Seems fair enough to me, not that my opinion has any weight around here

....but what did you do to fall out with BravoBravo?

Broke my rule about not getting too personal . So he can chalk me up as a notch. I’ve no doubt that in his own way he’s a great guy, but underneath , something needles him. Just why dogs put their hackles up, is a mystery, but every now and again…

There is that; but it hard sometimes not to get personal when both parties speak with heartfelt conviction, but stray into getting entrenched.

'Tis a shame. I have a lot of time for both of you

Johnson will go when Johnson is ready to go. He will NOT be replaced by Labour as there are still enough sensible voters who see Labour for the paper tigers they are!

He won't be replaced by Labour as he will be long gone before the next general election.

Johnson doesn't even want the job!

He's on record as saying he will be off as soon as brexit is 'done' so can earn some proper money.

And NO I'm not going to trawl through t'interweb to find the quote. It's your job to disprove my statement.

Does that not just prove my point? BJ will go when BJ wants to, not when some nonentity backbencher decides.

BTW, I don't need to travel for the quote as I remember it well.
