ot desperate at all. Bang on the money apart from the Javid bit.
Then there was the 'Ruth Davidson', or whatever his name is, who was going to be a shoo in for the next PM, or that fantastic notion that we can't make our mind up so we'll have a 'Government of National Unity', headed up with people with experience like Hilary Benn, Clarke and for added diversity, lets have that Green Party bloke from Brighton.
Since May was thrown out on her skinny arse, the 'Media', have been at the front of telling us who we will get if we vote Tory.
Can you imagine a Tory 80 seat lead if anyone other than Boris was the PM?
I make no bones about my assumption of this being a concerted offence to thwart Brexit.

Sunak is the heir apparent. But not yet. The only question is whether it will be just before or just after the next election.

ETA You are right about the Brexit thing. The nasty losers have not gone away

A warning of the storm to come for BJ.

C19 has for a period diverted attention from the fact that BJ's rather feeble rehash of May's execrable Withdrawal Agreement will in fact mean Brino rather than Brexit for a large chunk of the country, and with unforseen future consequences:

Any source other than the Telegraph? Not that their editorial style is anti Boris or anything...

Sunak may well be the heir apparant, but if his socialist levels of spending don't work he'll be very quickly dumped.

He’s impressively calm and personable, right enough, but I can’t help feeling he is being set up for a fall. Politics is a nasty business and there is going to be some serious blood letting once we get to the review stage of this pandemic and the true reality of the size of the Government’s borrowing hits home.

Whoever is running the Government, they're not doing themselves any favours with this ongoing dithering and very public debate about the wearing of face coverings. I suspect that it started out as the usual "kite-flying" of policy to try to determine public opinion, but it now just looks like muddled indecision.
