Ken Clarke reveals MPs will unleash 'HELL' on Boris' election: We'll lower the voting age!

Which could get labour into Government, that will make the remainers happy as
we'll stay in the EU, even though the country will be well and truly frecked up

That's ok as Boris can then say they are bringing back national service so the little darlings can serve in war zones. Old emough to vote old enough to fight for country. The drinking age will need to be lowered. School leaving age back down to 16. A whole raft of other laws to protect school leavers revoked. Works both ways and I'm pretty sure Labour would baulk at a lot of them.

Ken Clarke’s a useless old tosser, just like he was a useless middle-age tosser before that. And very probably a young tosser back in the mists of time.
He was sitting next to Theresa May at PMQs. Birds of a feather and all that.

Tells you all you need to know about the man. He would rather see an anti-British, anti-monarchist, anti-American, pro-IRA Marxist as prime minister, leading a hard-left, anti-Semitic, crypto-communist Labour Party rather than his former Conservative Party because it's led by a man who has promised to enact the wishes of the majority who partook in a democratic election.

Looking at these I can never work out which order they come in, but I get the distinct impression Mr Neil is taking the piss here.....
The inset dialogue box is what Andrew Neil is reposting, under his comment to it. Yes, he was being sarcastic.
Here is the follow up, with Jon Whitfield having seemingly tempered his response compared with his previous rant.

For my sins I've been watching a lot of the parliamentary shenanigans over the last few days on YouTube (I know, I'm sad). Frankly I'm getting a bit sick of the parochial attitude of the SNP and their "Scotland didn't vote for this" routine. So I did some checking:

SNP votes in 2017 General Election 977,569

Leave votes in 2016 referendum in Scotland
1,018,322.

I'm surprised that no one mentions it. Especially in Parliament.

Christ no.

If I followed that and the main Brexit thread when would I find time to sleep?
Sleep? You would be so frazzled you wouldn't be able to sleep!

One of the excuses given by some Labour bod last night on Question Time for not wanting an election was it’s crap weather in December.

So democracy is now weather dependent.

What - didn't you know? Socialism is dissolvable in rain.

The best is yet to come, have you seen their latest argument over a proposed general election?
