Who are the disproportionately heavy users of the NHS? Is it (1) families with children (apart from those in the first few weeks of life), or (2) people with chronic conditions and multiple comorbidiites in their last five years of life? Clue: it's the latter. Even in the Midlands: I live there.

You may wish to note that: (1) we are a rapidly ageing society, (2) most UK residents from EU backgrounds are from a younger demographic, and (3) we are not an especially healthy population, with high levels of obesity and other bad stuff.

You may not like awkward facts that don't fit with your own prejudices, but that doesn't make me a racist.

You may therefore wish to withdraw your childish, unsubstantiated and deeply offensive accusation that does you very little credit.

I don't wish to withdraw anything. Perhaps you come from a part of the Midlands with no ethnic population. Perhaps you could spend a day at Heartlands hospital and see who uses it before calling me prejudiced. Your point of view is only one forged from your local experience.
