There will be wet gusset's for some of the thread inhabitants

Sadly, the shrieking pant wetter's refer to the party that occurred on 18 Dec 2020.

If only there wasn't nasty right-wing nazi people recording event dates:

Institute for Government LMFAO

This bollocks has the whiff of the guff, spittle and good old fashioned frothing of the "Top Secret 400/500/600 page (depending on which TV news channel was interviewing Barry Gardiner at the time) Secret Government report that categorically proved that Boris was selling the NHS to the Russians or something".

But Boris was going to bring in tougher restrictions on the 18th but delayed it a day causing untold thousands of unnecessary deaths so he could party.
Apparently.

Not Boris per se but:
Friday 3rd December Minister for Transport. We will not be introducing a pre-flight test for Covid as we believe the PCR test on day 2 of arrival in UK is sufficient.

Saturday 4th December. Minister of Health. We will be introducing a pre-flight test for Covid as we believe it will complement the PCR on day 2 of arrival in UK.

Is anyone actually in charge of policy? When they have cabinet meetings do they all sit in different rooms?

Advice changes. Ministers do not make up policy without advice.

The MSM delight in "gotcha" from different ministers with different briefs so they can peddle the "It's all so very confusing" schtick they've been repeating since the start of the pandemic. Ditto all the confected confusion with the various "lockdown" levels. The MSM were in a proper circle jerk trying to discredit the government in office at a time of great upheaval for the nation.
I for one, will never forgive the MSM and their shrieking social media followers.
I'm not saying the Tories have been right in all they have done but by fvck, the alternatives scared the shiit out of me.
