It’s the significance of 55 (just seen) Tory MPs rebelling against Bozo. Not great, once they get the taste of disloyalty.
I've previously warned people, that Boris is not carrying his brexit wing of the party, or the parts of his country that voted for the party and gave him his large majority. His lurch to woke progressivism, may get him a hearing from the remainer media, but more likely a pat on the head and a p*** off boris.

55 MPs, who've probably been leaned on heavily by constiuents who know the winds on the ground and ignore at your peril, is probably the message. Because the mood of the general public have pretty much concluded, the man is a waste of space and that cannot be turned around.

BBC this morning, in their usual fashion, were reporting the approval of the vaccine for covid, repeatedly telling us the UK are the first country to approve a vaccine. Did you get that, the first country to approve a vaccine, repeat as nauseum.

Fair enough, it is news, but one of the reporters had to mention that this was good news for Boris, even though 10 former Cabinet members voted agin his new Tier proposals, which passed handsomely as Labour once again wimped out.

Why am I posting this here rather than the informative BBC is crap, sorry biased thread? Well my point is about the 10 former Cabinet members. I doubt they really voted against the government out of sympathy with their constituents but rather are lining themselves up for jobs when Boris leaves No10. They are showing the Party that they are ready to step in to Boris's shoes, even if they don't fit.

Scheming venal barstewards, using one of the most vital issues this country has faced in many a year to line themselves up at the trough! IMHO!

ETA:. @Themanwho is obviously of a similar mind but quicker than me!

Fret not. As soon as the first, tiniest, medically insignificant adverse vaccine reaction/side effect is spotted, normal service will resume as Boris "The Murderer" Johnson is lambasted for "arrogant, hasty, ill-considered precipitate actions" whilst "recklessly panicking and not carrying out full and exhaustive testing like the rest of the world".

Why should we wait until ‘the first, tiniest, medically insignificant adverse vaccine reaction/side effect is spotted’.

Let's Grrr-ify him now for murdering millions. Time’s a wasting and if nobody dies, well... they could have couldn’t they.

What you mean is you don't agree with Boris, regardless of what he does. He has not lost the Brexit 'wing' but maybe has lost the Brexit Bigots who see complete withdrawal, no trade, no holidays in foreign climes esp EU and to declare all ex pats living in the EU traitors. That is more your line.

WetsM is also in the same very very small batch as yourself.

You mentioned that Tory MPs were jockeying for Bozo’s job, are you expecting him to leave the post soon?

No - but that won't stop the also-rans.

So you think that Tory MPs are trying to prepare for and look suitable for the job of PM and that they totally wrong, with Bozo staying on for a full term and beyond?

Even if Johnson does the whole term, 3½ years (until GE) is not long in politics.

If competition is fierce for a shot at the too job then the would-be PMs need to get on with promoting their chances.

Good to see Tesco’s saying that they will return £500 million to the government that they made from the business rates holiday.

Let’s hope other businesses that did well during this year are as public spirited.

I wonder what the imminent Brexit deal/no deal will do to Bozo? A thin Biden/Brino deal will make for an uncomfortable New Year for him, with many of his more Brexity MPs

P1ss off sock.
And he couldn't even get that right:
