If you opened the other eye, you might find a whole plethora of other news out there other than Boris grr
To post on the Boris thread?

"For the Conservatives, Cabinet Office Minister Michael Gove has written to Sir Keir, saying he "seemingly found it much harder to find the moral character and backbone to do what was right" while serving in the shadow cabinet under Mr Corbyn."
Is Govey back on the coke then?

Showboating is not protecting the nation.

“It comes after a parliamentary report released in July found the Government and its intelligence services failed to investigate whether Russia meddled in the 2016 EU referendum”.

Maybe we aren’t being as protected as you imagine. Let’s hope that is rectified.

It woz Cambridge Analytica.

It woz the Russians.

It woz illegal campaigning.

It was everything and anything to blame apart from voters.

So I will tell you where that court case will end up - Being thrown out and hopefully massive fines for those bringing it in the 1st place and their legal representation ( Massive fines on a scale of instant bankruptcy )

It's another case of lawfare being used to try and influence government policy and how they decide to run the country.

"Hello C this is Mark here, do we need to be looking closer at the Ru Influence effort in relation to the Referendum?"

"Well there is quite a lot of skulduggery but no more then there has been for the last 20 years"

"But do we need to do anything further regarding deeper investigation"

"No. We have this but if that situation changes we will let you know"

"Thank you"

That is how it happens in the real world rather than screamsville.

Do you have a link to the above conversation? Or is it supposition?

I don't often mash the mong button, but for this ridiculous post there really is no substitute. Your buffoonery is congratulated on reaching the level of Whatabouterist Pecuniary, a little known position which comes with a small stipend of all the red llaboons you can eat.

BL is always my hero! He selflessly fights the good fight for the EU everyday, willingly shredding his reputation on here in the process. That takes genuine commitment and a profound sense of duty. :salut:
An interesting aside. Reputation is piffle. No matter what you do you do not control your reputation. It's made by others.

BL most definitely has an image of himself which is at variance with that held of him by many other members of this site. I find it interesting that those site members who were members of the WOs & Sgts Mess when serving seem to have a particular issue with him.

Your obsession continues to get the better of you.

I read a science fiction short story many years ago, where the protagonist read a book, then pressed a button on the cover which caused them to forget the entire contents of the book. They could then read the story again with no recollection of it. And again... and again...

Is life imitating art?

BL, cast your eyes around these pages from your lofty perch. Ask yourself this, why is hardly anybody who contributes to this site supporting your point-of-view on this thread or, indeed, the other one that you like to drop in on? Could it be that they do not agree with you? To carry on doing the same thing day after day in the face of all evidence to the contrary is not the mark of principle, but the height of foolishness.
Why?

Because people have invested so much of their emotional intelligence in believing Johnson is a decent PM, and now that is clear that he is woeful, they are flailing like sh!t throwing chimps as an attempt at bluster.

Its rather amusing to watch.

Johnson is very much big hand, small map. Tbh, most people are incapable of doing the required level of detail (something which separates the armed forces from civilian strasse), and so they are content to applaud his flights of rhetorical fancy from sidelines. Starmer has been lauded by the MSM for his forensic grasp of detail, but all it is is his lawyer's 20:20 hindsight, and he wouldn't do any better on Coronavirus either. In any case, with Labour now in complete and utter disarray after today's events, Johnson has now got a free pass on both Brexit and COVID-19.
If only Starmer had suspended Corbyn's membership of the party.
