Is that what Bozo said, or No 10, later on to clarify?
To clarify, it is what Boris Johnson, No 10, the Ministry of Defence and Martin Hewitt Chairman of the Council of National Police Chiefs’ said.

Just got this at work via a protest alert system we use:-

Alert Begins 26 Sep 2020 12:01 AM UTC
Alert Expires 26 Sep 2020 11:59 PM UTC
Categories Civil Unrest

  • Event: Protest
  • Location(s): London ( map)
  • Start Time/Date: 1200 Sept. 26
  • Impact: Heightened security; localized transport disruptions; clashes possible
Summary
Activists plan to protest in central London on Sept. 26 to denounce restrictions and other issues related to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. Participants will gather from 1200 at Trafalgar Square.

A significant security force presence is likely, and related crowd-control measures could prompt traffic disruptions on nearby roads; in particular, bus services passing through Trafalgar Square could face delays, detours, and cancellations. Heightened security and related congestion could also prompt disruptions at nearby London Underground (Tube) stations, including Charing Cross, Embankment, and Westminster.

More than 1,000 people held a related demonstration at the same location Sept. 19 and clashed with police after failing to disperse when ordered. Further such violence is possible; while bystanders are unlikely to be targeted, they would face an indirect physical threat in the vicinity of any violence.

Advice
Avoid the demonstration as a routine security precaution and to mitigate associated disruptions. Heed instructions from security personnel and leave the area at the first sign of a confrontation. Check public transport schedules and traffic conditions for disruptions. Allow extra time for travel in the vicinity of Trafalgar Square Sept. 26.

What difference do you expect in 7 days, there are no extra officers, just those that have their leave and rest days cancelled or those that get moved from other forces and leave a shortfall there. No extra cells, no extra court sittings and no extra CPS lawyers to process cases.

But they'll be out quick enough on Friday to ensure that pubs and restaurants are closed by 22:00 though!

No, we got this from something called Worldaware.com, it's not even on the Met's Events page yet.

Will they?
What resourcing does a large scale public order incident take, compared to a licensing check?
