Bob Ainsworth looks like Heinrich Himmler

Ultimately disastrous failures, both of them. Both Socialists, both shortsighted, both unable to raise a decent top-lip growth, both possessors of shrivelled willies. Only Heinrich has a decent haircut.

I know it's the NAAFI but we should be casting doubts on the policies - not the man. We do ourselves a dis-service if we follow this route.

No we don't. He's a very small man in political weight, with no redeemable social features that I can see. He has a particularly questionable political past and no valid reason to have been appointed to an extremely important ministry. Target.

Edit: PS, you're clear that he is a New Labour Minister, Litotes? The repulsive spawn of the Devil of Devils?

Heinrich Himmler was better-looking than Ainsworth (at least he looked menacing, not like Blakey from On The Buses).
And he had more medals than Ainsworth too, even if they were earned in the service of tyranny

I feel a twinge of remorse....just a little.

But he still looks like him! :D

If you tried to put some of the scars on Blakey that Rohm had on his clock, he'd whimper like a baby.......
However, Rohm at the time of his arrest & subsequent killing was caught in bed slipping one of his SA men a crippler - now that would be a really interesting situation for Blakey to be caught in! (Clapham Common & Ron "Badgerwatch" Davies spring to mind here  )

That's very impressive, RangeStew! I never realised you were such a linguist.

Take his specs off and he could pass for Ernst Rohm as well

The similarity is amazing. Could be identical twins. The comparison with Himmler is grossly unfair. Himmer was rated as a very good organiser, his SS was a force to be reckoned with. Ainsworths achievements?
