Blood chit ????

  1. I have this and wonder what it is and from which period. I assume it's for use in Palestine before the handover.
    It's in Hebrew, Yiddish, German and Arabic.

    On the back are a load of useful phrases in the above 4 languages.

    Excuse the pic, the document was too large to fit in the scanner in one go so had to try and put the scans together .....

  2. Where did you get that from. I would assume that it would be pretty difficult to find.

    If I had to guess then I would presume that it is some sort of "soldiers guide" of what to say if you got lost/captured in Palestine. Judging by what sentences are shown. I will ask my Grandfather and see if he was ever issued anything like this.
