Congratulations to Miles Hilton-Barber on making the trip from London to Sydney in a microlight.

Miles gave a motivational talk to our Regt a while ago, he seemed absolutely bonkers but his optimism, limitless energy and general outlook on life was inspirational. I'm sure he's already planning his next project raising awareness and funds for charity.

    Well done.
  2. Whats so good about that?

He wanted to fly to America!

(Straight to hell for that one!)
  3. But the best seat in the house! :D
  4. It's already got my name on it!
  5. But did he???

I mean you could just as easily stick him in the plane, make vroom vroom noises and give him a couple cans of Fosters after a few days.

How is he going to know the difference.

Might never have left the hangar.
  6. Total blindness is actually quite rare, he will see something just not in the same range as us, he may see shapes and shadows to mild sight loss to a varying degree of clarity.

same for deaf people, total deafness is rare too, most of them have varying degree of deafness from mild to severe and they will still hear something again not to the same level of clarity as hearing people.
