I find it interesting that when parliament first started up it was full of landowners and well to do industrialists who had, in some cases, a lifetime responsibility for other people. Some of them may have been Barstewards to them but they still took that responsibility. In addition, they were usually the first to put forward their sons, as officers, in any war. Officers who led from the front.

Lets see if Tony Bliar would ever put his son, Ewan, in harms way. I am sure that if he was the whole government's policy on Iraq and Afghanistan would be different.

Ah, happy with that. Just managed to get a post past calling Richard from Derby a Dick. Yeah, I know. I'm 32 but in my heart i'm still 12 years old really. Jumpers for goalposts. He was a prize stroker though. Small victories.
