Biggest boost for Australian military in three decades

For those of you interested in transferring, the govt has just pledged a stack of cash to the Defence Force.

Sounds promising. Tell you're PM to give out PM a good kick *********** and do something similar for the UK armed forces. In the last budget the chancellor allocated less than £0.5bn extra to the UK defence budget. It barely covers inflation costs.

Can we borrow John Howard PM for a bit? About 4 years should be long enough to unfjork the mother country.
