That's very true. Never have so many journos had to exercise their brains on so much material. Some have tried to be even-handed, but it's probably like trying to be fair to an SS Panzer Division, so they mostly go into maquisard guise, sneaking out with a Sten gun to plaster plastique onto a railway line, and then getting vapourised by the response. Many (viz; Guardian, Socialist Worker and the nut-cases at Morning Star) are very happy for the enemies of our mature democracy to roll over us in favour of the gentle Stalinist ethic: (viz Abbot:
The astonishing thing is that so many people fall for it. The Few are those like O'Neill, Hartley-Brewer, Delingpole, Murray, Liddle and (I'm being brave here) Katie Hopkins. What's really astonishing is the fact that so many really think that their lives, and the lives of the global populace, will be enriched by it. They won't; it'll be immensely destructive, in every possible way, except for in the virtuous, humourless, arrogant and almost inevitably doomed psyches of the Mob. And when they wake up to find that they've been Denounced by their children, they'll probably say "it's for the best" as they're lined up next to the wall.
I'm fairly sure that it's only a minority, of a minority which is leading the world by its nose on all the stupidity. But it's an educated, malicious zealotry, an inhuman ideology which is leading and directing the malignant movements. I shall be especially angry in my snotgram to the Times.
There is a plot to turn this country into a communist dictatorship, and Abbott is a prominent part of that, along with her former lover, comrade Corbyn.
