BFPO questions again!

I've recently had a couple of deliveries addressed to

My Name
My Sqn
MY BFPO
Ruislip
Middlesex
HA4 6DQ

refused and had to pay the full delivery to my home address anybody out there know why this is? And did i ought to leave the last three line off where i can in future?

I have literally just picked up two parcels from a FPO addressed just like that. Seems that BFPO are intermittently applying the rule. However, the rule is DON'T use the "Ruislip, Middlesex, HA4 6DQ" bit.

All rather annoying as it allows anyone to send stuff the BFPO, but I guess there is a reason.
