Best shoes for the gym

  1. Right, it's time to stop being a lard arrse and time to get down the gym. Which trainers are the best for the gym? Will a good pair of runners suffice, or would cross trainers be a better idea? Any specific recommendations would be appreciated. :strong:
  2. Are you going there for a buffet or doing something specific? Are you asking anyone about teh planned exercise, or are you just going to run head-first into some kit and hope for the best?
  3. I'm trying to buff up not buffet up...although it is tempting. Some treadmill, bike, rowing machine, and general weights. Less emphasis on the treadmill though. Also some work on the punch-bag.
  4. If less emphasis is on the treadmill then a good pair of cross trainers will be fine. If you plan on doing 20mins plus on the treadmill then you should be looking at some running specific trainers.

  6. First thing, dont go to the gym to do cardio!! no fecking point in my opinion!!

    if your lifting weights and doing lower body work any reasonably sturdy shoe will suffice
