just thought it might be interesting if arrse'rs posted there personal best in 2 minute press-up and sit-ups

Be honest

i'll start:
Male - 17 years old
press-ups:61
sit-ups:70

1.5 miler: bout 11.5 mins

I hope you are not too pround about those figures, when I was 20 I did the 1.5 miler in boots and lightwieghts in 8.16. I'm now 40 and did it last week( shorts and trainers) in 11.04 press ups 48 sit ups 53 and I say again I'm 40
and 15.5 stone: :oops:

AND IM 6FT 15 STONE 6 AND A FAT CNT SO IF I CAN DO THAT IM SURE A 17 YR OLD SHOULD BE DOING BETTER ON THE RUN AND WHO SAYS YOU CANT BE FIGHTING FIT AND A FAT BASTARD IM A MEAN FAT DRINKIN MACHINE LOVE IT :hungry: :drunken:

Run - 9mins

To be fair I did a lot more phys a few years back - am starting to get back into it now uni is over

6"1 15.4 Stone and you have to make a start getting fit, it's not on that us old, fat good looking guys are making you look like a dishtowel....

Not done any exercise for four or five years but since joining the TA I have been in the gym everyday doing a nice rotation of day 1 1.5hours of CV training Bike, X-trainer and running day 2 all of day one again plus two complete circuits of 60 reps of each machine in the gym..

But on my RSD with no prior knowledge of even doing a BPFA my scores were:

Press-ups:28
Sit-ups: 35
1.5Mile run: 10:55 (it's really 1.7Mile but who's counting)
Age: 25
Height 5'10
Weight 66Kg

Weight is now 70Kg after training for the last few months!
But now I don't know what I could do, I am in the process of finding out if I can go on the next RSD for the reasons of finding out! not only that but I will get paid for it!

(Although I've been doing a little less cardio and a lot more training on my upper body strength in preparation for PRMC)

Sit ups 80 (no need to do any more!)
1.5m 8:45 (why go faster?)

I hate being 37 until it comes to BPFA time, when I love it :lol:
