THE BEST INTRO EVER!!!!
or you know better?
A mate who did light shows, used to drag the needle,(fu*k me that dates this) accross a "tune" and shut all the lights off so a club just crashed to a halt.......and then played this to the best light show a club could offer!
imagine you're in a night club, half cut, and this comes on......
(they also burnt a million quid on a scottish island you know............. )
Track 1. - Struggling for a tune they were never going to hit even if they had an MLRS.
Track 2. - Manufactured pap of a style done far better by the mighty Transglobal Underground.
Now come let us discuss a tune that would get the club , street and town rocking.
This intro always reminded me of a certain late night drinking establishment in Wertach in Bavaria.
The strobe light was excellent with the rotor beat.
Takes me back a few years, but memories of too much scrumpy one summer night!!
CSI fans turn the speaker up to 11
A short intro but it makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck
Sit down everyone.........................Imagine its the late seventies
keep remembering seeing helicopters whilst this is playing ...in a movie maybe?...dont know
Oh, so many...
Never fails to make my spine shiver.
Also, gets my vote for best opening line:
Where's the plutonium?
Wish I could find the theme, though. Slowhand at his best.
I used to play that song (as a guitarist) when i was in a rock-coverband about 10+ years ago.
I still do like to play that intro occaisionally.
Listen to this with the volume at 10!
One of the best Dutch bands ever.
If you really are going to crank the amp up, only Lemmy and the Lads will do http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPp7mY9Z1fA&mode=related&search=
