Berets and cap badges

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. It used to be that the cap badge on a beret should be above the left eye.

Increasingly one sees it verging towards the left ear.

    Any reason for this?
  2. Probably trying to look like an ally **** or para
  3. Most Paras (Para Regt) don't wear the capbadge round near the ear, though many other infantry units do, especially the Rifles.

I think he's great, it's like throwing sticks for the dog
  9. Do you think throwing sticks for a dog is great then? Sounds quite boring.
  10. Just curious, as I was in the Light Infantry many moons ago.
  11. It used to be that people would post interesting threads on ARRSE not go through the same things again and again and again.
