If you got to charge her to expenses, seems like a good deal to me!

Having seen photos of her, I can say that nobody on here would say no

For £300 an hour, she must go like a belt fed mortar.

Perhaps "Owen" could enlighten us, or perhaps one of her thousands of punters who have pulled her through like a CR2 barrel scrub.

Who says PhDs don't have a life outside their research?

she's more attractive than Billie Piper!

I don't think either of them come out of it badly. Of course he has to say he didn't know she was getting paid for sex, can't blame him for that.

Good luck to 'em.

I watched, and loved, the dramas on TV, starring Billie Piper. Her portrayal of the character was amazing. I especially loved the way the Belle character carefully considered every aspect of what she was doing.

If the real Belle de Jour is anything like the TV character, she has my utmost respect. I'm wondering if it is a shame she has been outed, or has outed herself. I hope all works out for her.

EDIT: Just found this:

And there are Billie Piper clips on Youtube:

I think she kept £200 out of the £300. Thing I don't understand is the remark that clients often paid for multiple hours. I mean, without going into the gory details, would you book 10-12 Wed, or 10-11 Wed and 11-12 Thurs.

Jesus, if it was pro-rata for part hours you'd book 1100 to 1103.

x 100

I would, but then I don't/didn't have the spare £300 odd required.

Only getting 1/3 of the fee is serious exploitation though. You can see why so many try to go it alone, rather than use an agency.

You have reading difficulties?

But she's now revealed that, as an impoverished student, she worked from 2003 to late 2004 as a £300-an-hour prostitute through an escort agency, pocketing a third of the fee for her two hour sessions with clients, whom she met two or three times a week.

All frivolity aside, that is ripping the arse out of it,... errrr ...so to speak

Entirely fair point. Basing one's facts on one news source can be deadly, especially when it is The Mail.

Mea Culpa.

But The Guardian? For something other than Arts reviews????????

Question: Why?

We have agreed not to identify Owen by his full name, because to do so would result in immediate dismissal from the Army.
Why would something his ex-girlfriend did whilst he was not in the Forces result in his dismissal now?
