Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I don't know if this has been asked before but can any one tell me if beeswax can be used on issued boots to get upto a standard for parading. If so anyone have any hints and tips on how to use beeswax. I know how to bull boots but to ensure no flaking etc I want to use beeswax.
  2. No you definately do not want to burn down Combat High boots....they're not made for it and you would probably set them on fire. Combat High boots bull up well enough without having to burn them down anyway....just takes a little longer to get them layered up enough.
