The multi tool in the survival kit retails at about £24
You're not hearing me are you?

What I mean is that you can probably put together your own kit, with the same contents, for less. Granted, you may have another multi-tool instead of the Gerber one.

I hear what you're saying.

What I'm not saying is "Go out and buy this its amazing"

What I am saying is "Oh look,BG has his own product range, it may be of interest to people who buy kit, like knives and stuff."

Gotcha. The Parang looks ok, shame about the colour.

Do you think that it's fair to estimate that 90% of people who buy ready-made survival kits have no real idea how to use 90% of the contents?

Meh...it's ok stuff if you're starting off a survival/JIC kit, but anyone with a bit of experience would probably prefer to make up their own with bit's and bobs they collect.

Plus the dayglo colours are a bit off putting to me.

For example instead of his "ultimate knife" why not a more subdued Gerber prodigy (I have one good knife).

Does his survival kit come with a gold credit card, for use in the 5* hotels?
