Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Hello all, I was on the BBC news website to look for the name for the recent soldier who died in Afghanistan. I tried looking and looking for the news article about it and I could not find anything. On the top of the page it just said name announced of the British soldier released.

It proves how the BBC see's this as nothing. :x

  2. I thought i'd read it earlier

  3. No, R47! It actually proves that the BBC's news orgs, out of hours especially, are a bunch of cnuts. It's not that they don't care - news suppliers are not supposed to care in any case - the name wasn't there because they're shite and they couldn't find anyone to make the phone call and check the facts.

  4. This is very true, the attitude in the BBC news room is far from being what you would describe as pro forces.
