I always get annoyed at stories like this when I scan the accounts and see the CEO and Executuve Director, between them, gotr a remuneration package of @ £665k last year.
Best read the accounts again. You are missing an "s" after Executive Director. There are a total of nine staff (five clinical i.e. medical specialists and four executives) on salaries of more than £60K, not two, that make up the £665k figure.

Not at all. It's in thd notes, not the main account figures.

This shouldn't come as much of a surprise. After the money was diverted to the NHS it was obvious a shortfall would develop. Combat Stress should have made this clearer when they changed the treatment strategy involving one of the houses.

I knew ABF (Soldiers Fund) and H4H donated but RBL?

On a side note, I used to see a lot of fund raising activities on ARRSE for Combat Stress but far less now.

Your £665K figure is 2018.

From the Annual Report 2019: Page 48. Para 8. Emoluments for employees above £60,000: "The total remuneration costs of the CEO and Executive Directors in 2018/19 was £674k" Note the plural on Executives (my bold).

There is a table giving a breakdown of those nine, which IMHO doesn't give so bad a spread considering more than half of them are clinicians.

ED's or NEDs and what hours worked? Am sure their is a 4 star somewhere with the balls to run a charity . FFS most of them are on boards in defence indusrty as NED's

Peter Wall is their President; retired 4 former CHD. The salaries relate to the executive team, not the non-execs (who are Trustees, not NEDs). Having now read their report and website, there’s nothing to see here; the average executive salary is under £100k.
