BBC News - is it fit for purpose?

Maybe. But she has just won a very heavily contested byelection. We've heard quite enough from Farage, who wasn't standing in Peterborough, and doesn't have much experience of winning seats in a UK parliament.
Saucer of milk dear?

Didn't read them then? You're a bit shit at the detail thing aren't you?
Read them: desperate Left wing/Liberal bias, don't you think?

. . . still, it fitted in nicely with your bias, I guess.

You do have trouble keeping track of threads don't you? I'm not in the least excited by it, others are. I'm pointing out they're bed wetting girlies. Your sheets damp?
Your arrogance is exceeded only by your ignorance.

I just watched Newswatch. The public tore into them for their bias against Trump. One of their senior people came on and basically said, "Yah boo sucks. We thought it was nicely balanced." The disconnect between BBC staff and the viewing public is breathtaking .

Me and Slipperman pointed that out on the Donald Trump visit thread. Almost simultaneously.

Not got any rebuttals other than you don't like them? My bias? I don't like misogynists or racists so aye, you're right.

Someone said that to you once didn't they? You haven't got a Scooby.

Rebuttals? Or counterpoint? As in your excellent Googling which popped up a weepy and chest-beating piece from a Left-wing newspaper whose editorial staff loathe the current POTUS and OpEds that howl at the misery at how that man reached the Oval.

Racists, eh? Bet you can spot them a mile away.

Nope, I thunk that one up all by myself: I use it rarely but it always gets a bite.

The 46-year-old head of the anti-migrant League party is accused of using his growing power to turn RAI TV channels into a mouthpiece for his populist, anti-Brussels policies".

It was certainly fit for purpose this morning, with the delectable Victoria Fritz in the anchor role. A wonderful start to the day!

Nobody who wants to sell their cars in the UK is going to alienate half of the population. If it's more cost effective to streamline business into Europe (EU) they will.
Oh I see! That will be the reason behind ford consolidating all its European credit operations into a single UK site, at the same time as shedding 5000 jobs in Saarlouis, Germany and heavily cutting the shift manning in Valencia, Spain. If only Germany and Spain weren't leaving the EU, those jobs could have been saved.

In my new and part time job, I spend quite a bit of time in the City and CW. I have yet to find a company, indeed any individual, who claims that Brexit will be good for business.

Steering not directly into socialism but certainly enviromenalism which the left and woke liberals use to promote their views.
This began with '28 Gate' 13 or so years back when Roger Harabin and Richard Black, both BBC employees, hosted a conference under Chatham House rules that included many
department heads, eg drama, , news, comedy plus representation from environmental groups eg GreenPeace. The idea seems to be to settle the line and direction of the BBC concerning Global warming (before it morphed to climate change now climate emergency.
BREAKING: The 'secret' list of the BBC 28 is now public – let's call it 'TwentyEightGate'
It is now evident that people don't get on the BBC unless they subscribe to the climate change bollux.

"One UK respondent in an in-depth interview made clear her views: "I think the ones that you trust are the traditional ones that have been around for a long time, like the BBC, like the Guardian, like the Independent."

She might, I can see a certain similarity between the 3 mentioned that doesn't necessarily instil trust......
