BBC bias in question (which way do they lean?)

I did an eye roll worthy of internet marriage just now, reading the BBC.

There's an article suggesting it's racist to have "a type" and that it's wrong to not be attracted to ethnic groups.

I'm about as liberal as it gets for a military man, the article in question however had me yearning for the good old days when my grandfather was in the Wehrmacht.

The BBC should focus it's attention on news, facts and entertainment. It has no place in pushing societal boundaries, nor should it seek to push an agenda, be it liberal, left or right. That is for the rest of the free press. The radio 4 programmes I can abide. Women's hour for example, acts as a speakers corner from which people can present opinions and ideas. It does this without showing BBC bias.

This article though, could have been written by an angsty teenage feminist and is completely innapropriate for a publicly funded news page.

How modern dating encourages racial prejudice - BBC Three
Well, it wasn't all a wasted read. I know realise that I am a despicable and awful creature for ever having paid for myself and a female companions food during a date. How could I have been so terrible and committed such an unacceptable act?

All this talk of a young woman presenting question time, what’s Sue Perkins doing at the moment ? (flash of light, purple smoke, mwah ha ha)
Not black enough....

Do I have a "type?". Interesting question. Our lass is mixed race. She had a black grandmother from Dominica, (with a white grandfather from St. Lucia), and two white grandparents from London's East End. There is an old fashioned technical term for this racial mix, but frankly I couldn't care less.

Before I met our lass I had a long term girlfriend who was half Dutch, a quarter French and a quarter English, who was born and brought up in Bournemouth and considered herself 100% English despite her Dutch name. She was six feet tall, extremely slim, had huge tits and olive skin (a Dutch East Indies n***er in the woodpile, perhaps?)

Previous serious girlfriends have all been white, but tall blonde and fat, medium height brunette and skinny (a couple of times), short black-haired and skinny, short blond and skinny, medium height medium build and blond, and a short slim redhead with huge tits.

Am I prejudiced? Am I racist? Do I have a type?

Yes, no, yes.

After all of these years I tend to avoid women with tattoos. I don't like them and consider them to be a combat indicator for mental illness. (After our lass's breakdown this year she was the only one on her ward at the mental hospital, patients and staff, who didn't have a tattoo.) So I am prejudiced against women with tattoos. Race - couldn't care less. As for a type, I go for personality.

So according to the BBC, because I have a "type", am I racist?
Your friends all seem to be female? So, clearly you are sexist.....

PS. Does this redhead have a phone number...?

She does, and we are still friends. However she left me for the bloke that she is now married to. Thŕee kids later she is still as slim, big titted and as gorgeous as ever.

I could describe her as the one that got away, but she's a redhead and as mad as a box of frogs, usually in a nice way.

You should read the rest of that site too, Krazy Kremlin Kretin.

If its not on it already, then your name will go on his list for "re-education" when Comrade Corbyn takes control and we become a full blown socialist republic :)

Today's agenda appears to be "let's push the case for renationalising the railways to help the great Leader".

Rail chaos as engineering works overrun

Once again, nowhere in the article does it mention the crucial little factoid that the privatised companies (SWR and Southern) are in fact entirely blameless in the chaos and it is the publically-owned not for profit Network Rail (essentially the nationalised bit) that is responsible for the delays.

Oh no - far better to have passing mention of NR works over-running while showing pictures of SWR trains and lots of soshul meeja whinging about SWR - all backed off with helpful comment from the RMT.

I've huge amount of sympathy for those caught up in this - have done the London commute myself and know what it can be like. However this continuous reporting of "chaos on the railways" entirely without context can only be aimed at one objective. About time someone corrected the narrative.....

You sure it's network rails fault?

I think you will find it is mememememe, or MeToo, or diversity , or equality, or Brexit (might just as well include Vegans here) or something anyway.

Whatever, it is driving listeners away from the BBC.

Perhaps that is their idea.
Mr Ferrari put it so eloquently re BBC programming, programming people with repetitive programming that is...
