BBC bias in question (which way do they lean?)

A 'People's BBC' free of political interference, eh?

Fancy.
Piers Moron said a great line a few months back regarding the BBC

"You could run a Harpoon through the whole News Room and you wouldn't hit a single Tory!"

Boris just has to do this – some useful idiots (to the BBC) like Huw Merriman yesterday in the Telegraph, (and that younger woman botherer who was briefly no.2 to Mrs May) are already sounding cautionary noises and rowing back – but if this government does not put manners on the BBC, then it will just go from bad to worse
Agree, currently they think they're untouchable but if they win out over this government they'll know they are!

I eagerly await their Nelson Mandela biopic...played by a ginger haired Welshman.
Will it start on his release and go backwards?

I like a happy ending...... Don't we all

Can the BBC legally do that under equal pay legislation? Don't think so as it has always been skewed.
Probably not unfortunately.
There would be huge resistance from the 'talent' via their agents of course.

I've never understood how the salaries Of these journalists has been allowed to climb to such extraordinary levels.

The rise of the celebrity journalist and the myth that they’ll automatically be poached if they don’t get the money.

Also their own self belief of their immense importance and a self feeding culture of ego inflation.

The BBC news today is reporting that average earnings are back above pre 2008 levels. You’re 65p better off. Congratulations.
Do the BBC celebrate this by saying how hard the Tories have worked (a bitter pill for some, but worth it for long term gain) to put things straight after a spending spree by Labour for 10 years before them? No such thing.
They’d rather report that the last 12 years have seen the worst improvement in living standards for 200 years. Why report a Tory positive when you can always report a negative side instead.

Geeta Guru-Guru Murphy is taking a kicking on Twatter for her comments last night. The BBC mask slipped for a moment last night. GG-M remarked on how white the crowd in Parliament Sq was.
Julia Hartley Brewer (she of the magnificent cans) isn't letting it go.
No surprise.
The BBC rejected the complaints about the news broadcast and said it stood by Guru-Murthy’s description of the Brexit supporters in attendance, which was given in the context of questions about attitudes towards immigration.

Caroline Flack killed herself on Saturday. A minor sleb but the BBC are still reporting this, five days after the event! No doubt they will soon be promoting a Caroline Flack Day.

Tragedy to her family, certainly. Tragedy to the nation - absofuckinlutely not!

There's an inquest today (not sure if it's about her being an abuser, or into her suicide), you can expect the grief fest over this domestic abuser to continue until at least after her funeral and memorial service.

Have they implicated Brexit as a cause yet?

Death of diana - however tragic, became a political vehicle to hound the monarchy.
Death of Saint Jo - however tragic, became a political vehicle to hound the brexit movement.
Death of Lady Flack - however tragic, becomes a political vehicle to hound the media and force it to adopt SJW speech patterns. Whilst avoiding the obvious argument that if caroline had being a bloke, we would be broadcast a wholly different story.

The BBC treats every story, as part of its narrative... .So any poor weather(climate), bad economics data(brexit), bad behaviour on the streets(deprivation), Death of migrant(blood on the hands of those opposed). The institution is no different to fox, RT or CNN, a propaganda arm of a small self licking minority.

The BBC managed to get a at least three references to Flack into this incredibly important piece of national news...
Brits winner Dave calls PM 'racist'

Somebody called Lewis Capaldi said:
I hope to God ITV don't contact her [My ex girlfriend] to be on a reality dating show.
The Big Bunch of Cnuts said:
The night opened with a brief tribute to Love Island host Caroline Flack, formerly a backstage presenter at the Brits, after her death on Saturday.
TheBig Bunch of Cnuts said:
Earlier, Harry Styles, who briefly dated Flack while he was in One Direction appeared to pay tribute by wearing a black ribbon on his jacket on the red carpet but made no further reference to Flack's death.

Blanket coverage even in the Telegraph. It's almost like we don't have enough real news*.

*Qualifier: the suicide of a TV presenter is news, but arguably only as newsworthy as any other suicide. Harsh, but fair.
