Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. No details as yet, shame, I wonder what religion they represent? Just curious really..
  2. 12 men arrested? that must of took about 120 police officers then
  3. The Beeb news has been reporting this by showing a close up of an armed officer's HK. Gun porn on the BBC.
  4. On the first arrest of Christmas my DI gave to me.....

One suspect of Pakistani decent bleating for his 'unmin rights' lawyer.
  5. The Beeb should read their own reports:

"Our home affairs correspondent said the officers who arrested the men were unarmed, suggesting the police felt there was no serious threat against them."
  6. Well, we will let them into our country won't we? The government is to blame simple as. They'll be out on the street again after xmas.
  7. Quote from the fuzz: "The operation was described as large-scale, pre-planned and intelligence-led"

I wish one day it would read: "The operation was described as small-scale, totally-gashed and blindly-led".
  8. I suppose we should not be suprised there seems to be a terror threat every Christmas for some people who take issue with others thinking differently to them.
Lets not forget last year attempted bombing the character who came up with the novelty act of exploding underpants.
  9. With the senior officer declaring to the assembled journos 'No cuff, tough tough' :D

Re the Police with guns, probably the Beeb pandering to those who think the Police were too tough on the poor darlings who came out to protest about the Uni fees. 'Look tarquin, the Police have guns!!!!'
  10. It's strange isn't it? The thing with cops and guns, I remember all the upset when that special branch fella got shot in the face by some nut. Everyone was all up in arms about it, then people get a real hardon when the fuzz bring out their toys.
  11. Well 'Several Forces' were involved, however it has also been stated there was no serious threat,

It will interesting to find out whether these were a mixture of Immigrants, Converts or Both...
  12. I'll wager they were all pakis.
  13. Rumours down here in S.Wales are that people should stay away Cardiff, Swansea, & Bridgend on Christmas Eve.

Although Swansea & Bridgend would be massively improved if there was some sort of bombing.
I have absolutely no idea if there is any truth in these rumours.
