You don't have a father / father in law who's hitting retirement do you? My old man retires next year and the plan is for me, my brother and a rapidly growing list of my mates to head over to France / Belgium once he does.

Kick your mrs a bung and go spend some "quality time" with your dad / her dad / anyone's dad having a few pints and speculating at how crap it must've been to advance 400 metres over open ground, up a ridge to attack a fortified position.
