Battlefield Smartphone...


Looks like something wrist mounted running Android-something and linked to the soldiers individual personal radio for comms. Like a GPS/text messager but something secure if you need to speak. Interesting, I think as to how modern civilian systems are now better and cheaper than the military side.

Money speaks I guess, that's whats driving technology nowadays.
Wasn't that what BOWMAN was supposed to be?

We've been running MAKEFAST on the last few exs from the BOWMAN terminals that are like large PSPs. They are not wrist mounted but will fit in a daysack top pouch...and have solitaire on them.
